Taiga West

The Taiga house was also built in 1918. There was room for cows, sheep and chickens. In the passage there was room for winter wood, turf and coal. The extension consisted of workroom, outside loo, wood fired bathtub and clothes drying space. It was a big job to fire up for the weekly bathing and main clothes wash. A better herring season enabled them to buy materials for such a luxury building which was completed in the 1960s.

Taiga West is divided into Siberian Jay Room and Owls Room. Both bedrooms has boiled and fridge available, are spacious with ample living-dining space and are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
